I'm an amateur photographer living in New South Wales, Australia. From 1997 to 2005 I was living in Japan. I became seriously interested in photography after buying my first digital camera (Sony DSC-S70) in early 2001. I bought a Canon D60 in 2002, and over the years I've upgraded to a 20D, 5D, and now a 5D Mark II. I have no preference for Canon cameras, but I've gradually built up a pretty big collection of EOS lenses and accessories, which discourages me from changing brands.

Most of my photographs are of my family. I also like street and landscape photography, although my job and my family leave me with less time for it than I'd like.

I think it's fair to say that my photography has achieved a reasonable level of technical proficiency. Artistic value is another story.
