I've had a Konica Minolta A2 bouncing around in my briefcase/flight bag/glove compartment for the last two years, and fine service it's given as a light weight, carry everywhere camera.

I've not been following developments in the digital point and shoot market so I don't know if there's anything new out there that offers major advantages over the A2. Is there something that's equally portable but clearly superior that I should be looking at?
