Anyone here use this software yet? It looks promising. I've downloaded the demo but currently computer issues are standing in the way of installing it.

This might be a good program to review for Luminous-Landscape. It overlaps Convert To B&W Pro in some of its functionality as well.

Yes, I've played with it a bit and it seems to be quite nice. Some of the simulated films also simulate the film grain as well, but the cool thing is you can actually dial out that grain. So, for instance you can get the look of pushed Tri-X 400 without the grain if you like.

I saw that review on DOP. Just about every review has been positive, and every reviewer has commented on its price. At US$200 Exposure's expensive for a plug-in!

I was all set to buy Convert2BW Pro it until I heard about Exposure. I shoot a lot of BW film and I'm in the midst of a digital transition. I like the ease of managing the BW conversion process conferred by C2BWP. But I also like Exposure's film-simulating capabilities--much easier and quicker than doing the same thing by hand in Photoshop, and the "films" can be modified extensively. That it can manage a BW conversion was bonus. In just this capability, I wonder how it stacks up against C2BWP.

I'm trying them both out--so maybe I'll answer my own question.
