I will be in Holland and Belgium in a week and was hoping to receive suggestions of locations to photograph.
Thanks.

Well, there is quite a lot. Not always the spectacular kind, but a lot of variation and lovely country side, packed with history.

Where are you staying? Are you after natural landscapes (like in the Ardennes or at the Wadden Sea) or more into the ancient or modern man-made polders?

I will be visiting Amsterdam, Lisse, Haarlem, Brugges. and Brussels. I am interested in landscapes and timeless city vignettes. I also have and interest in photographing interesting stairways.

You can't go wrong in either Amsterdam or Haarlem. Be sure to visit Haarlem Centraal Station - lovely 19th century building (and a lot of stairs too!).

I suppose you will visit the Keukenhof in Lisse? For some real Dutch landscape I'd either go to the Zaanstreek (just north of Amsterdam) or to the Krimpenerwaard (between Rotterdam and Schoonhoven).

Brugges and Brussels are nice too, of course biggrin.gif
