For those who would like to have one too, a free DOF program for the palm can be downloaded from the DOFmaster website

sgwry,
Do you care to share some of your other links with us ? or are you only taking, but not offering anything in exchange ?

Having not used a palm type device I'm interested to know if any of them can run software like EOS Capture to be used as a remote control in the field.

Would be useful if they could, any one in the know on this one?

Interesting thread!

What about such programs that will run on a PPC especially under Windows Mobile 5 ?

that's the DOF program i have.

here's the grey-line map: Earth&Sun Color

Here's a link to what's on LL: http://luminous-landscape.com/reviews/palm_pilot.shtml

there's also a link on that page that takes you to pocket pc software.

i was just trying to think of practical things that would be useful.

here's an interesting thing: http://www.pacificneotek.com/ it can be used with a palm to make it an IR remote.
