I just put a couple of new portfolios on my site with landscape photos of the Netherlands. Not the well known polders, tulip fields or wind mills, but some other rural parts:
Thanks for posting your link. Zwiggelte 3 gets my vote as well. I was also interested in the thumbnail of Eck en Wiel 21, vechtende fazanten, because of the composition and the texture of the grass, but the full preview showed a cropped/panorama? Julie

I like the tonal and color transitions in Eck en Wiel 2--it gives a nice peaceful feeling. Both Zwiggelte 1 and 3 have very nice graphic qualities and composition. Geelbroek 4 also has a very nice feeling. Thanks for posting.
I decided to show the whole thumbnail, even if the real photograph is cropped. Do you think I should do otherwise?
Here is are the fighting pheasants again, uncropped:

I like the uncropped version. The curve of the fence posts is quite nice.
Nice images. Thanks for sharing them.

Thanks for posting the whole image. I prefer the uncropped version with the expanse of textural grass and the beautiful curve of the fence. I would reconsider - and have the 'real' photograph to be the uncropped version if it were me. Julie

I changed the pheasant picture into the uncropped one (democracy is great, isn't it
Today I addes some more portfolios (sooner than I dared to hope ).
By the way - looking at all those images, scanned and worked on in photoshop, I feel a deep urge for buying a digital back for my Rollei. No more scanning and less postproduction, with more accurate results.
