Nixvue apparently is out of business and so I haven't ben able to put this question to them. Up to now I have been satisfied with this equipment and recently emptied the hard disc, possibly including operational data. The Album now cannot download from an inserted flash card, neither does the computer recognize it as an external hard disc when attached by the USB; consequently I am not able to reformat it. Is there someway to breath life into the equipment or should I forget it and purchase an Epson 2000? Thanks.

Its probably not worth fixing. I had a couple of Nixvues. For a few years they were great. However I've just got my hands on the new Epson 4500, which is simply wonderful. Get the Epson.
