I've had my 20D for about a year and a half now, but never had the guts or inclination to clean my own sensor. I recently received as a gift a Visible Dust Arctic Butterfly. I know it's more of a "in the field" solution for sensor cleaning, but what I'm more concerned with is how do I lock up mirror so that I can clean the sensor? The manual is no help (that I can tell)... Where should I look for info/technique? Anyone have tips to offer?
Thanks!

Select sensor clean in the camera's menu system.

The manual has instructions on p.36 "cleaning the CMOS sensor".

Miror lock up is for different purpose, not for sensor cleaning purpose. I think you got confuse between the 2 terms.
Just look under main menu for "sensor Cleaning", when you chose it, it shoudl have a message said "turn off power after cleanning" or something like that...
It's not a hard process, but make sure you read the manual to make sure you know exactly what to do .
I've just ordered an Butterfly Artic frush too.. hope it'll work better than other methods
Good luck.

It still reminds me of a Tottsie Pop spinner (I have the original version) but it works well!
