Below you can see a sample photo reportedly taken with Leica M8 under tungsten. WB was manually set to the grey of the Kodak card according to the photo poster. (Sorry, the site is a Greek one). No post-processing, straight conversion from DNG in PS.
Psycho-Funky colours or what? The original poster does not make any comments about the colour. Sure looks like the well publicised IR contamination to me. Any other opinions?
If this is true, then the problem IMO is more serious than many people (including Leica and our kind host) care to admit. It is not just 'black polyester fiber' and 'fashion shoots' that are affected. Any shot under tungsten (high IR percentage content) might potentially be affected. BTW, I'm aware of the 'hot mirror' filter 'fix' but still....
