Hello All,

Interesting times we have here, interesting times.

Something less crucial and a simple question for the H1 users.

I miss my compendium shade from my RZ and Contax. Will the old Hasselblad Proshade work on the H1 lenses? I am particularly interested in a shade that will work with the 50-110. I assume if there is a compendium shade for this it will work with the 80-100-120 & 150 as they are all a smaller diameter. I also have the old Sinar filter kit with every filter made and the different attachments depending on the lens. Does anyone if there is an adapter to use the Sinar control kit on an H1 lens? This was like a $1,500.00 shade filter sytem back in the film days.

Thanks in advance for any response.

R

Lee filters make the sort of thing you are looking for I think. They go up to 105mm diameter lens fitting. http://www.leefilters.com/CP.asp?PageID=119

Paul,

My last two newer lee hoods have come apart at the spring connector. Something is up with their QC.

The H/V proshade referenced above works pretty well with the H lenses. It and its adaptor rings are somewhat overpriced. It's fiddly at first but can be put on fast once you get the hang of it. It works with all the H lenses, including the zoom.
