I thought these were dead pixels , but I don't know. If you look at the whites spots in Lightroom they are made up of small white squares. This happens in all my pictures. Never had this problem with my DSLR's. I'm shooting ISO 100. Camera default except Large Fine. I'm having trouble posting a file on this site but a would be happy to e-mail a file to anyone who thinks they can advise me. Tomorrow I have to decide weather to return the camera and eat a 10% restocking fee or exchange it for another. I was having a lot of fun with this camera and have'nt read about this problem from anyone else here. Ken is having a great time with his. Maxgruzen@mac.com

In the image you've provided, all I can see are dust specks on your G7 case, but no small white squares.

Perhaps you should provide a crop at 1:1 (pixel for pixel) resolution instead of a resized version?

Hi Jani, yah I know. I"m having trouble with a crop that works. You can either open the file in Lightroom and blow it up or I can e-mail it to you
