I noticed a new edition of Professional Photoshop (by the numbers) by Dan Margulis. Has anyone read this new edition? It's kinda pricey, I'm wondering if it is outstanding enough to warrant the price.

I'm halfway through. The techniques are more applicable to quick corrections rather than being able to roll back the changes months later ... but the results he gets are impressive. Dan is a bit of a stirrer though but don't let this put you off. It's essential reading IMHO.
