I've got an upcoming job that will be outdoors in Utah. Unfortunaately we can't use a Canon so I'm trying to decide between an H1 system and a Hasselblad V series camera.

Anyone have experience with these out in the "FRIGID" ???

My instincts are that the mechanical Hassy 503 would stand up better than the electronic H1. And then I only have to deal with batteries for the back. But I honestly haven't used either of them in the snow so any suggestions and feedback would be greatly appreciated..

I have H1 with p25, and I went yesterday to take some shot's, the h1 killed my battery 7.2v/1850mAh in lest them 20 shot. Forget about my back I change it, every 5shots . them my h1 refused to do anything, after 35 minutes out.so I just went home.
"FRIGID" was -2 degret F.

Hasselblad V series camera has never failed me, even when it was way too cold for me in Utah. (Got so cold I checked into a "warm" motel with a ice in the bath room.) Meter w/battery had to be handled with warmth and fresh batteries.

I did have the shutters checked and they were blessed for cold prior to trip.
