Has anyone had a chance to compare the output of an HP 130 to the Z3100? It would be interesting to hear your feedback regarding the differences between both photo and fine art prints from these two machines.

Having used one for a couple years, I've nothing but respect for the abilities and economy of the HP 130.

Here is what Neil Snape had to say:

I'd say the Z is much more accurate, the grayscale absolutely perfect, very sharp. Yet in the end even after the last few years of testing and working with the pigment printers, the HP 130 makes the richest prints by such a long way that I wonder if ever pigments will reach THAT type of black !
