I am developing a virtual digital camera in Flash to teach the basics of exposure to my students. (I guess you could call it a Flash Camera.) Before I officially start using it I thought I would post a beta of it and get feedback from anyone who might want to take a look. It still has some bugs, and rough edges. Also, the descriptons are overly simplilfied for clarity. Please take a look if you like.

I like it, simple yet conveys the basic concepts.

Should work well.

Looks good. When you put the camera in program mode and change the iso neither the shutter or aperture change smile.gif

Thanks for the feedback and catching that bug. I'll get to work on it.

Excellent. A good teaching tool for newbies to understand how each of these settings impact the others--and the final image.

Craig that is brilliant.

My wife is a retired high school teacher and I was a lecturer at one time and we are both bowled over by the potential of this as a teaching aid.

I hope you have the intellectual property very well protected !!

What a great idea!

This is the best way to convey the concepts of shutter speed, etc. that I have ever seen.

Very nice interface too.

Nice! For example, the effect of high ISO on noise and effect of shutterspeed on DoF (in Tv mode) show you've put a lot of thought into this, well done!
