I recently purchased the 24-105 f/4L lens for my camera and I'm having trouble keeping the entire image sharply focused. If I shoot a picture of a horse and rider in motion, the image is sharp from the horses chest to the riders head, but the horses lower legs and feet are blurred. I have tried setting the camera to use different focus points with no great success. Any suggestions.

Try a faster shutter speed?
