I'm having a bit of difficulty with the recent CS3 upgrades. If I open Bridge the updates section is a light grey and in Photoshop, registration, activate, deactivate and update are light grey. On occasion they will be black and allow me to check for an update.

Any search I've done on the Internet hasn't found a solution. I'm trying to decide whether this is a feature built in by Adobe to prevent downloads when their servers are busy, or a bug in my software.

Can someone shed some light on this please?

After launch, it takes a while to communicate to the upgrade servers and establish a connection...it can take several minuts-or more on a slow net connection.
