Full Version: Hasselblad H2/CFH-22 Shutter Count?

I just purchased a Hasselblad H2 with CFH-22 digital back. The kit is a demo, so I'd like to determine just how "used" it is. I've spent hours searching the manuals and internet for information on this question. Can someone PLEASE tell me how to determine the shutter count on the H2 and the number of actuations on the Imacon CFH-22? Thank You!!

What, you haven't been keeping track? smile.gif

Unfortunately, determining the actuations is a function not available to dealers or customers. It's a service menu only. This has been requested from dealers for some time and is under consideration.

At this point, the only way to check actuations would be to send the unit into Hasselblad service.

You will find it under Menu - Settings - System Status on your H2

I don't know about CFH-22 DB but for H2, get to Menu, turn front dial to get to menu 4.4. It display shutter actuation counts and attached lens actuation counts. P45 has similar info at the last menu screen.

Just to clarify -

Via the System Status menu you can access shutter count. You cannot access accuations on the digital component without Hasselblad Service intervention. There could be a discrepancy betweent the shutter count and the digital back if the camera had been fired without the digital back on it, for testing, or if you had used the digital back component on a view camera, for instance.

There has been alot of discussiong about shutter life on various cameras but what is the expected shutter life for an HC lens? Has anyone had a shutter wear out? I am curious if it is cost effective to have an HC lens shutter replaced/repaired
