I have noticed that when I chose to edit in Photoshop from within Lightroom the image appears in Photoshop at its maximum size at 240 ppi.
Is there some way in which I can alter this? For example in Capture One I can define the resolution and therefore control the size of the image.

Bill,
This "issue" has already been raised in another thread. The answer was no, you cannot change the dpi. When your image is opened in PS, you could run an action that sets dpi to any value you choose. Changing dpi doesn't change resolution in pixel, it's just a tag but you already know that.
