Hello all,
I have been using an Apple MacPro w/ 23" ACD. I also have the Gretag Macbeth Eye One and both the Eye One Match software and Color Eyes Display Pro. All has been going well for the last couple of months, bu yesterday I went to do a calibration and in both software after the initial white patches were displayed as part of the process, the monitor switched to a decidedly pink cast, that was reflected in the final profile. I calibrated using D65 (6500K) and Gamma of 2.2 (also did 1.8, no difference). On the Color Eyes I did use the L* setting for Gamma as well. When I use an old profile, colors look fine,,, I just cannot get a new profile. Anybody have this issue?

Did you happen to have LR open, while you were calibrating your monitor? I noticed a few months ago that I can NOT have LR open while the calibration is under way and I use Eye One too.

That's about the 7th time I've heard of this happening. My EyeOneDisplay "went pink" suddenly after years of good service. Because my other colorimeters (I have 6 right now) work fine I can only assume that the EyeOneDisplay just died. I have also seen a number of people have that problem with brand new units. In contrast, the quality control and reliability of the OPTIX (aka DTP94 and ColorEye) is fantastic.

Thanks for replies. Lightroom was closed, as were all other apps. I am wondering about the unit as well since both software (EyeOne Match and Color Eyes) behave similarly. I started working w/ X-Rite customer support on this matter and they had me send them a profile. See what happens. Thanks.
