Full Version: Mamiya 120mm Macro AF/Or Older Difference

Just wondering if there is a big difference between the 120mm macro for the AF or the older one?
I understand they are both manual focus.
So what is the difference and is it worth the extra$$$
I see on ebay they list as for AFD around 1200.00 and the older manual for around 600.00

They are both manual focus, but the AF model will automatic stop down to your selected f/stop, the manual one, you have to set the f/stop yourself. I got my manual one for $450 and the AF one for $675 both at ebay. So, be selective. you could get lucky.
