Got a Phase One P25 for testing this weekend with my Contax 645.
As it is my first use of a DB, I'm very impressed after my test shots.
Only issue I have up to now is, that the P25 does not accept my Taiwan made SD /CF Card Adapter (from JOBO) - which works perfectly in Konika/Minolta 7D and others. The P25 works fine with 'normal' CF Cards.

Has anyone of you made the same experience - or shall I try another adapter?

A lot of MFDB are "picky" about what CF cards you can use. They write a lot more data to card than most systems, and need the best of speed and stability.

My experience is to use only the best Sandisk cards that are available at any given time. Lexars have been problematic sometimes for me, and sometimes not...

The cards are a small outlay these days when compared to a digital MF system and should be factored in the total system cost as a minor expense.

Why would you try and use a $30 adaptor to use a $30 memory card in a $20k digital back? It just doesn't make sense to me....

Try using a few regular Sandisk or Lexar CF cards and your problems should go away. I've never hard a problem in a P25 with any of the Sandisk cards I've used (Ultra II's & Extreme III's & Extreme IV's).
