Is anyone else having trouble with the PS update? Bridge & ACR updated fine (once I selected them individually) but the PS update hangs. I have tried through the Update menu as well as the direct download of the update file from Adobe.
Windows version.

This morning it started downloading at about 9KB/sec and eventually aborted. I tried again this afternoon and the whole thing downloaded in just a couple of minutes.
I guess I hit a quiet time on their server the second go round. Keep on trying.

Tried to download the updates and got a 404 error using the link.
Tried a manual search on the Adobe site, there are articles referring to the updates but the links lead you to the download page with no trace of the updates
Maybe a glitch? Will try again on Monday

Same here - searches for 'DNG 4.3' in the Adobe web site search engine produce lists of 'hits' on the Adobe site but they lead to 404 errors [17th November]. All I can find is version 4.2.
I can understand slow downloads, but missing/broken links doesn't look good. What are Adobe doing here? Marketing department out of sync with web site management?

Jeff - your link is broken. The '16' in the date should be a '15'.

If you only have the one computer to update then starting Photoshop going to Help->select the update software and it all happens automatically.
Download took around 5 hours yesterday...suspect that everyone was doing an update at the same time.
Printer dialogue now works better on Windows.
Still doesn't update the thumbnail in the layers dialogue when you convert to B&W through the adjustments menu (small niggle though).

When I download the CS#up date i get a icon that says ps1001,dmg and when I open that I get a icon that says"PatcherApplcation". What is that and does that install the CS# 10.0.1 update?
Thanks

Yes, that's the disk image of the installer that is called PatcherApplication.

I just completed the upgrade on the main computer (Win XP Pro 64) without any problems. Ran the update for CS3 and LR. Printing a 31x63 image as I write this (still had to use CS2 for this).

I must have lucked out----update for me was a matter of minutes and quite painless....
I'm still using Qimage to print though....

It took between 35 and 45 minutes last night to upgrade the laptop last night (wireless connection) and less than 2 mintues today on hardwire.
It's all good!

Does anybody please have a working link for the upgrade, Our office computer isn't connected to the internet (for safety) and Adobes site seems to still be showing the old 4.2 update. Wayne

Sorry Doug this just goes to the "old" 4.2 update, the new 4.3 isn't showing up.
Thanks Wayne

If you were only using QImage to get around the print centering and default printer issues, you can revert to printing out of Photoshop. 10.0.1 handles all this just fine now. It's a smooth one-stop shop (on Windows).

Thanks Ron, this takes you to the right page, but when you click on the link for 4.3 for windows it just takes you back to the brows downloads page, the link there to update CS3 just takes you to 4.2 update. I just can't find 4.3 anywhere, the site seems to be stuck in a circle, it just takes you round and round. Wayne

I had the same problem here, have read somewhere it's country dependant. Anyway, better use ftp directly

I got the standalone updater no problem and installed it easily as well.
BTW, I believe every patch for the CS3 suite is called "PatcherApplication", so you need to put each one in its own custom-named folder for archiving purposes (for later reinstallation if the need arises, should you not prefer to download each update all over again).

I downloaded the update and now I have crashes when auto-merging two 360MP files. First I got out of memory messages, then I got constant crashes.
I did these same merges a few days previously and had no problems and nothing else has changed except I updated CS3.
Any ideas,
Michael
