Full Version: Lightroom 1.3 consuming excessive CPU when "idle"

Anyone else notice this?

When seemingly idle, LR1.3 is consuming 30 - 40% CPU (Win XP Pro) and roughly 130 Mb memory.

I DO NOT have "automatically write changes to XMP" set in the Catalog Preferences.

LR 1.2 did not exhibit this behaviour.

Mark,
Not happening on this end. When idle and minimized both CPU and Memory quiet down to about nothing.

Hi!

From time to time LR will generate a lot of 100% previews, this happens:

a) After you import new pictures
b) If you go to a folder yo have not visited for a couple of weeks

130 MByte seems very little for LR, by the way.

Best regards

Erik
