An updated OS X driver for the R2400 was posted on Epson's Australian support site recently too ...

Universal Driver for both Macintosh PPC and Intel CPU.
N.B.Version 3.65 is installed for OSX upto 10.4. Version 6.12 is installed for OSX 10.5
