Some time over the last year I came across the site of a photographer who was doing brilliant things with simple objects, e.g. two clothes pegs/pins, matches - just arranging them in an unexpected way or shooting them from an unfamiliar angle.

I can't remember the name of the photographer, and I can't remember whether I found the site through LL or through Stumble or through another link... but I thought that the collective knowledge of LL might come to the rescue.

All that I remember, apart from the style of photography, was that the photographer is a woman and the images are arranged centre-page, one above another, so you just scroll down. The pictures had a wonderful combination of beauty and wit.

My purpose is to illustrate a talk I'm giving about NLP to occupational health doctors in Holland - I want to illustrate and dramatize the power of seeing familiar objects from a different perspective.

I don´t know if it is what you are looking for but google for the work of Chema Madoz. Simple, beautiful, eloquent and simply brilliant.
