can't google anything helpful....how do the focal lengths of MF lenses for a Phase one p30 convert to 35mm focal lengths?

There are two conversion charts that I can offer to you. Our new Capture Integration web site has a Focal Length Conversion Chart. Just plug in desired lens in the blue field and it will generate the comparable focal length.
