Full Version: audio / video skipping with LLVJ HD download?

Is anyone else hearing weird audio drop-outs with the latest LLVJ downloads from LLVJ 17? The video pauses and gets real choppy on me, and sometimes green screens start popping in. I'm using QuickTime Player on a Mac (Leopard, MacBook Pro, Core Duo). Processor usage seems fine and I'm able to play other videos, including the From Camera to Print series without any problem. Anyone else seeing this problem?

I also tried playing the videos with VLC and while it seems to do a slightly better job not dropping the ball, it still has weird little blips in the audio. So odd.

Thanks,

I'm already on latest. Upgrading to 10.5.2 to see if that helps.

I had no problem on a MacBook Pro and a dual G5 (All running Mac OS X 10.5.1 and the latest Quicktime version). I have the HD version of LLVJ #17.

You said that processor usage was OK, did you check from a terminal window or with Activity Monitor utility?

I was checking with Activity Monitor. I just upgraded to 10.5.2 and that seems to have fixed it... Must have just been something off with my system... *sigh* smile.gif

Glad to hear that the big update fixed it!
