I just did a little test.
My P30+raw files converted to DNG with CaptureOne 4 and imported into Aperture 2.
It al works.

Great that it imports, but can you tell if it is reading the raw data or simply processing the embedded JPEG?

If you convert to DNG via ACR instead you can choose not to create jpeg, so I think it's reading the RAW.

Thanks Samuel

I've got better detail on it now (from AUPN) and what you say is right. If it's from an unsupported camera, they're now reading the DNG's raw data and decoding it according to a generic DNG recipe. It's a sensible move by Apple, and good for DNG too.

I just tried importing a DNG that I made with C1 4.1.1 into Aperture 2.0 and I get these weird magenta blotches in the highlights.. it looks like a clipping overlay but it's in the actual image when I export it. Anyone know what's going on? Lightroom is reading it without problem.
