Hello everyone , just got my phase one back , very exciting about it , what type of storage HD does everyone use when it runs out of CF cards in the middle of shooting?
i use Epson P5000 for my Canon/Nikon files , no problem at all , but when it meets phaseone Raw file , it seen saving it in the P5000 but can't display on the screen .
any advise and experience sharing are welcome.

I use a notebook (new Mac Book Pro coming), from the start - if I run out of space on it, I'm in trouble (150GB). Offers lots of advantages over something like P5000. Shooting tethered (where you can) is also much better than the preview on the back of the Phase.

As regards your P5000, I think it's a simple case that they don't support Phase RAW files. These devices are aimed more at the consumer and semi pro market, would be my guess as to why.

Cheers

Check out the Digital Foci Picture Porter Elite. It will display the Phase TIFFs and store the files. Mine is a 100GB model.
