I own a simple z3100 without APS. I'm not going to use a lot of papers -- but still have a bunch of Epson Premuim Glossy (250g) and bought a roll of HP Pro Satin, that seems to be more tought. I built "easy" profile for Epson Premuim Glossy but don't much like the results. I still figure out the reason why it's.

So If there's someone who owns APS-version of z3100 and who could send me an APS profile for Epson Premuim Glossy I would be very grateful and would even by him a beer, here, in Russia. LOL.

The same about HP Pro Satin - I'm going to use it and think may be it would be much better to use more advanced profile. At least I want to compare the results.

Neil Snape gave me one -- but for previous version of firmware, I don't know whether the things changed or not.

For the Pro Satin and firmware 5 there aren't any changes I am aware of so it should still be fine.
I don't have an Epson profile for that paper.

You might want to try the built in HP Instant Dry Glossy. It should work.

Please note, the built in profiles are similar if not the same as the Easy profiles.

APS profiles have a lot more "punch" to them. I would use APS for everything except matte papers.

Today I get Pro Satin paper and finally made a print with profile you send me -- and it's OK. And I have found one thing -- soft proof with that profile looks quite well, both intents, perceptual and relative. And the difference between them not so huge.

But with the "easy" profile for Epson Premuim Glossy I see a big color cast, especially in perseptual rendering intent, especially for blues. The prints are the same -- foozle. This makes that paper not that much usable.

So it seems that internal profiling is not working correctly -- may be only for that paper, I don't know.

I have a plain Z3100, and the automated profile produced by the onboard spectro for Epson's premium glossy paper worked fine for me. I just used the photo paper glossy preset. It's accurate enough that even black & white prints are neutral without any color cast. So maybe your spectro has a problem.
