I have lived and worked in cold foot. same is true with deadhorse.
I have lived in each and every coastal village Above the Arctic circle from Kotzebue clear up to Barrow, which is my current residence at the moment.

well those two mentioned have not much to offer.
Not like Denali does,, it is fantastick but north of Palmer is Majectic Valley close to Eureka..
Sensational place to wander for about 20 years.!! or 20 days.
continue on and head on down to Valdez.. spell binding place. I have lived and worked there also .. I have worked all over this state.
The Arctic is my heaven on earth paradise of the North !!
What are you looking for in adventure.. ?? Wiseman is a close place to cold foot that is interesting.. I still kick my self for not ceating an image of a sign on the tree leading into Wiseman
