I've been meaning to post this for awhile,
I wanted to state upfront that the technical support I've received from Leaf America (Rick in particular) has been absolutely stunning
My first Aptus 75S had sensor problems which Rick promptly replaced upon receiving RAW files for him to inspect from me.
A few months later I had some problem activating the fan in the back, and the circuit board needed to be replaced apparently.

Rick was very helpful and just asked me to send in the back with an RMA number.
Both repairs were done in a 1 day turnaround with overnight shipping back to me.

Not sure how other people's experiences are but since people keep saying how dealer support is really important when buying the back, thought I'll throw this one out there

I agree. I've had multiple Leaf backs and their service has been nothing but world class. Rick is the best technical support person I've ever encountered. He is very knowledgeable and attentive to solving what ever the problem may be. And he does follows up communication making sure the problem was taken care of properly. I've had the technicians call me to ask questions concerning this or that so they can better do their job.

Might as well give a prop to my salesman, Randy Hoffman at Keeble and Shuchat in Palo Alto as well. He's there before, during and after the sale.

I agree! Rick is a top-notch support guru who really understands the product. Having use another brand of MFB where you could never get immediate support, I think it's the coolest thing to be able to make a direct call to him in a crisis situation.

Does anyone know how Phase support compares?

I purchased my Leaf Aptus 75 from a company called Sun studios in Australia.

As I live in New Zealand I was apprehensive about after sell service as I live on the other side of the ditch.

I have had a couple of malfunctions with my leaf and the service from Sun studios was fantastic.

I had excellent advise from either David or Selena and if they did know then they would get it from Hong Kong with in a few hours.

I would receive replacement backs from them within 18 hours from Australia the only problem been New Zealand customs (bastards).

We now have a New Zealand distributor called H E Perry which started in February and I am hoping the same level of service will continue.
