Just a quick question for you WDS owners out there, as it was not 100% clear on Cambo's website. Can the same body be used with both 4x5/rollfilm AND digital backs? Is there a difference between the film DS and digital DS other than the lens selections? Obviously the Digitar lenses won't cover a 4x5 sheet, but are the rear film plates or forward lens plate systems any different? Thanks a bunch.

Hi.

I have a Cambo WDS, and I use it with a Betterlight, 4x5 film, 120 film and soon, an MFDB. For the MFDB, all you need is the adapter from Cambo that goes in place of the revolving back. Or you can use a Graflok adapter from any of the MFDB manufacturers. The other fittings are all the same.

Cheers,
Kumar
