Do you know if the 4.1.1 tethers to it's only folder or is it some kind of Hot folder?
Could not find out anyhwere.
In other words can you shoot tethered with just 4.1.1 installed and nothing else?

Also does the Preview Converter work on 4.1 or is there another way of convert fast previews on the fly?

You will have to use the software from your DSLR to capture to and then use a Hot Folder in C1 4.1.
The current preview converter only works on the non P+ images. I'm not sure if there will be a preview converter for the new P+ images. Have you tried using the "Make Web Contact Sheet" under File. Pretty fast and simple.

Hey Chris Thanks, But I have a P30.....Non+
Do you need both programs or just C-4.1.1?
I have it just do not want to install until the green light comes around...
I had too many problems in the past using newer software.... Plus I cannot really experiment,b/c I am usually working and do not want to experiment with my clients waiting...:+}
I do not even want to install it in my laptop to try...Yet.

You will still need to use 3.7.8 and 4.1.1 currently. There 4.1.1 still does not have full functionality like 3.7.8 does. Currently 4.1.1 does not have styles, color editor and multiple monitor support. It also can not process multiple file formats and sizes (destinations), but can be added in the queue to accomplish it. All of these items and more will be added in 4.2 (Pro) when it is released. The great thing about the new 4 software is that is it much faster to process.
