I'm trying to figure this out .
with photography of small objects using Hassy H2 and 120 mm Macro F4 :

When stitching for extended DOF
I get different perspective , because of lens movement .

I'm trying to figure out how to compensate for that movement by
changing distance of the camera itself placed on a macro rail .

Should I simply measure the distance that focusing ring is moving ,
or is there some formula for that .

Also

Anyone know hom many mm the lens center will move
when turning focusing ring 1 full revolution ( 360 degrees )

Yes I know it is lens peeping ...

I never heard there is formula to compensate this.
But I would love to learn too.
I got the same problem and my solution is Photoshop.
