I know that the Rollei/Sinar AFD Xenotar 4/150 HFT PQS lens is expected this summer.

I remember that about 2 years ago the Rollei dealer here in Russia informed the customers that a new 150 mm. AF lens was in the pipeline for the delivery in 2006. I even was asked to place a deposit for the lens.
Does anybody know whether the AF 4/150 lens (not AFD version) is being manufactured?
Thank you,
Yevgeny

Dear Yevgeny,

Yes, there is a Schneider AF Tele-Xenar 4/150mm PQS (1/1000).

Best regards,
Thierry

I think Yevgeny is asking if it ever shipped to customers.
Every time I checked the UK distributor's site (www.robertwhite.co.uk),
the ship date kept getting extended.

If we are speaking about the AFD version: no, not available yet, in July probably.

If we speak about the AF version: yes, I have it in my price list and it has a cat. number (711.81.016)

Dear Thierry,

Thank you for your reply.
I think that between 80mm. and 180mm. is a gap and I am trying to fill it. And I would like to have a medium tele-photo lens for travelling, the 2,8/180 mm. is too heavy. I cannot find an AF version of the 150mm. for more than 2 years. That is why I wonder if the lens hit the market and available.

It looks that the same lens is called either Tele-Xenar, or Xenotar 4/150.
The Russian dealer has the AF Tele-Xenar 4/150 mm HFT PQS in the price list for years. I have the Rolleiflex 2006 brochure with the AF Tele-Xenar lens listed. On the other hand, the Michael's Hy6 review mentions an AF version of the Tele-Xenotar 150mm. lens. It is confusing.

Thank you and king regards,
Yevgeny
