Recently read forum found the NEC display getting more popular now-a-days, and more importantly the price it is much lower than Eizo (I’m located in Hong Kong). I’m working with my Macbook (not Pro); I know it only support to certain size of the display.

Please suggest a 19” model of NEC and how they work with the Spider 3 for calibration of the screen.

Thank you in advance.

Get any of the Spectraview models:

http://www.necdisplay.com/Products/Series/...5e-c23e8b085ed7

You can buy the non-sv version if you don't want the software, but it really is very good. The SV software can also be ordered separately if you choose (it can be hard to find a Spectraview packaged monitor, so many people just order the monitor and the software this way).

The newest macbooks support up to 1200x1920, so you can get a 23" or 26" monitor without a problem.

The ones you want have, with I believe only one exception, model numbers ending in 90 and uxi. E.g, 2090uxi, 2690wuxi, etc. The exception is the 19" model which is the 1990sxi.

Have a few of the 2090UXI, love them. Bought one new in box for 450 on ebay, snagged 2 more NEC refurbished for the same price.

Now that's a great deal. I think I paid almost $1200 for my 2090uxi when they first came out. Still completely happy with it.
