Michael's report makes it sound like a serios possibility (compared to the woeful lack of alternatives). But how can they get lower high ISO noise than the competition?

I bought one to carry around in my pocket while giving Eco-Tours. It seems I never had a camera when i really needed one before. Consequently I have missed some great pictures of Crocs & Gators.
The picture quality and ease of use is phenominal, just as reported by Michael. In fact I made my decision to buy based upon his review.
