Due to communication errors with my Mac OS 10.5.4 and Epson R2400, I'll be using the system at my school to print. Can anyone kindly advise what are the issues/problems of creating an image in Photoshop CS3 and opening it Photoshop CS? I gave it a try and seemed to have lost some layers. Should I make copies with merged or flattened layers? Thanks very much!

Yes, make copies with the layers flatttened to make for easier transport. I would suggest .tiff, burnt to a cd or dvd.

There is a maximise compatibility setting in CS3 which when used will allow older versions to read the files normally.

What format are they? I open CS3 files in 7.0 with no problems saved as PSD. Wayne
