Yeah, I wrote them a letter. I'm even willing to pay some reasonable extra money (ok, it's about having a great DB 3 weeks earlier ) on top of that $14000 in order to step in this sale.

These are great prices! If you want an MFDB set up, here is your chance everybody. These prices make perfect sense. The price with the camera is stupendous! To make it clear, buy a refurb Phase back and get the new phase camera and 80mm for $1000. This is what Phase should be talking about.

Exactly this is a nice deal and i have the Phase body already and i really like it so far. It seems a lot faster all around and well built. Plus you get the new 80mm which looks real good from just playing around. So for 1k that is a screaming deal to get a new body.

Actually, I hate to tell you this (sorry, it's a bit like rubbing salt into the wound), but even before this new price adjustments, AFAIK, Capture Integration's previous advertised refurbished and demo back prices were even lower for the P30 refurbs - US$11,990 (back only, NOT the kit), which you can for the moment, still see on their website here.

So in actual fact, it looks like all the refurbished prices for all the other backs are the same, except:

P30 RF +$1,000 (increase of 1K USD)
P45 RF -$1,000 (reduction of 1K USD)

So this is really good news for those looking for a P45 refurb right now, especially since the P45 RF kit with 80mm lens is only +$1K USD over the refurb back only price.
