I have a NEC Spectraview 2690 in my studio that I'm calibrating with the US version of the Spectraview software. I'm running that on a MacPro Tower. So I took my old G5 Tower to my country house and a friend said I could take her old Sony Artisan for a while, but I'm realizing it's an old and heavy monitor so I'm thinking of getting one of the "cheaper" NEC monitors to my country house since I'm more than happy with my Spectraview 2690. There are a lot of different options to what I can get, I would like to be able to calibrate it with my US version of the Spectraview software etc. I've heard that I can get a Multisync version instead of a Spectraview monitor and still be able to calibrate it.
For a Spectraview 2190 I have to pay 10.396 SEK +tax here in Sweden, that's about US $1.706 But if I get the MultiSync 2190UXp PE it says that it come with calibration etc and then I only pay about US $1.312 Would that be the same thing? Can I calibrate the Multisync with my US Spectraview software?
A cheaper monitor is the MultiSync LCD2470WNX, it's only about US $905 here in Sweden, would that one work for me?
Or should I just get the MultiSync version of the 2690? It's about $1.575 so that's a lot more money than the smaller monitors but still cheaper than my Spectraview 2690...
All suggestions are more than welcome!
Håkan
