Working quite well, pretty quiet, running cool, and reasonably fast with ~50MB/s sustained reads and writes.

I've been wanting a Drobo for a long time.

My mate (the Sigma importer) contacted them about importing the Drobo's here, the company was not interested.

I have been watching these for awhile and just ordered one last night. Found a decent price on some 1tb baracudas so decided it was time. That and the fact that I only have 50 gig left on my internal drive and too many lacie externals to cope with.

Been loving mine for many months - I'm waiting for the 2GB drives to arrive so I can upgrade!

2TB perhaps?
