Congratulations to Mike, Jeff and Chris on the success of the fine art printing tutorials. I'm not surprised at all by how well it has been received in venues outside of LL.

When most of my department was laid off, I was tasked with taking on the job as corporate photographer and was also handed an Epson 9800. I'm a video editor and animator by profession, and your tutorials were invaluable to me in getting up to speed and running, thus turning my long time hobby into a serious business.

Yes, there are several sources on the web to instruct one in how to perform color management and printing, but many are poorly written, disjointed, or outdated. Your tutorial put it all together into one sensible piece.

Recently I've decided to capitalize on my sharpened craft, and plan to purchase my own wide format printer and sell my own works. The confidence I've gained was a direct result from applying your teachings to my own work, which has certainly improved my standings and acceptance with my new employers.

Thank you, and again, congratulations.

I agree! Kudos to Michael and Jeff. I purchased the Camera to Print video as soon as it was released and have watched certain segments dozens of times. It provides insite, inspiration and, as with the other vidoes from these two guys, light-hearted entertainment.

Cheers.

The videos about printing are wonderful. I have recommended them on other forums and to friends who shoot. They are the most helpful online resource I have ever used.
Thanks, Michael and Jeff!

I agree, Pete and Bud. It was so helpful to me.

On another topic, how about capitalize instead of capitolize and insight instead of insite? rolleyes.gif
