Has anyone used this paper for color/B&W on an Epson 3800? How did you like it and is their supplied profile any good with the Epson 3800? rolleyes.gif

It's my primary paper: it is my favorite paper, due to its unique variable "sheen" characteristics. Alas, I use a HP Z3100, so I can't help you with the profile question (I make my own profiles on the Z3100). I do think, due to its considerable surface "tooth", it is best suited for larger scale photos.

Check with Atlex (www.atlex.com) for a Hahnemuhle sample pack. An inexpensive way to find out for yourself. Ask them if it contains a sample of the paper you are interested in.

I use it often with my trusty old Epson 2200. For the right print, it's a lovely paper. I have found it does not work for everything. I particular like it for landscapes, nature macro, and nature abstract shots. I am less fond of it for portraits.

I found the profiles for the 2200 to be fairly good. I can't speak to the profiles for the 3800.
