It will be great to "visit" your various studios. Say a few lines if you are doing portraits or products or still life ro advertising etc
I'm sure we are going to see some really impressive studios.

This was my studio from the end of April until early September
http://www.vimeo.com/1873453Inside was a MFDB Sinar/Alpa, an 8' x 10", an HD Video and a 40d for time lapse with a panning head and a laptop.
And guess what? - I was shooting Landscapes, some of which are here...

Hi,
Some shots from our workspace.
We also have an edit room which is not on the photos yet.
Mainly a Mac pro with dual monitor and an Epson scanner and 3800 so nothing special.
At the moment we are remodelling the studio again with new walls (scenes) will take some time and is an ongoing project.

Very quick pick on what we are working on for the past seven months. We are trying to create something very unique and one of a kind in Chicago for Fashion/Glamor photography. Project completion and studio opening is scheduled for end of February 2009. What you see on the picture is hair and make-up area, reception and waiting room. To the forefront left ( not shown ) is open launch-room area and computers/ printers room. The wall that you see to the right ( behind sofas ) is actually a 20 feet wide door to the studio. Studio will feature twelve open corner rooms made of two walls of 11' wide and 13' high with adjustable angles . Each room will represent completely different era of architecture and style. Additionally there will be huge old world fire-place and a old ancient Roman sauna. Hight of a studio is around 13' and the entire ceiling area will have overhead track lighting system. Studio is about 3500 sq/ft.
As soon as the project is completed I will post pics on LL and virtual tour on my website.

Thanks David.
Before I took up photography as a profession for years I use to develop high-end real estate commercial properties mostly in Eastern Europe. In todays market however I would think twice before I would invest this kind of money if it was not for my own use and with the assumption that this place would be my work studio till retirement.

It does fit nicely in my place though it looks kind of out of place

I shortened the cable this morning and took of 1 weight, now it can use the full height and moves more easily. It is only a H body plus lenses I will put on.

I have a hope people may come from london - more on location shoots but knowing they can back into the studio if the weather goes wrong and that there is a lot of backup with lights and kit compared to just hiring a location
Hopefully tight finances/eco concerns might push people away from going abroad !
