Hi,

I would like to get some of my older LLVJs that I received on DVD into iTunes so that I can watch them on my video iPod. Any suggestions? I am using a mac.

Thank you,
Jack

I bought a couple of $29 DVD rippers and did them myself. One of the softwares does whole tracks only, and your granularity depends on what the DVD allows. The other software allows any segment of a track to be recorded, but requires manual control. I did LLVJ 1 thru 17 in about two weeks.

Handbrake will work - I used it to get my old LL videos onto my apple TV. You just need to do each segment individually.

I'm also using Handbrake! VisualHub and iSquint (free) were also great but the company shut down last week,

I made a real idiot mistake when adding to the queue. I forgot to rename the destination file for each segment. But it takes foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. It takes at least 2 hours to rip and convert from dvd to hdd.

Thank you to all who responded. I can get my LLVJ's on my mac and then eventually on my ipod.

The only issue with iSquint is that it's not available anymore… The developer shut down his business. But... you can get the source code and compile it yourself with Xcode.
