A further "what do I think"

I think that you need to think about electronic interfacing of your lenses through open source software ie plug ins

What do I mean..

AF is great (for stills and movie) but inplemented in such a dumb ass closed way..

I want to be able to program my AF

examples..

Range - only from 3-5 feet - to stop hunting - particularly hunting to droplets on the dome of my waterhousing !

Pull - programable pulls

Face regognition

Logo recognition - for those clothes shoots

Colour regognition

Shark recognition ! - what ever

Open source would allow us to develop our paramaters - and 1000s of users will always have a better imagination than a few R+D guys..

I also want to be able to program my aperture/iris !

A clever idea Sam, especially if lit is eft to everyone to then develop it further.
