Hi Bonek,

Did you remove lens/viewfinder during the update?

It will be ok to restore, don't worry!

Get in touch with your dealer (who is that?) and ask them to send you the .hbf file for your H3D39. If they don't have it they can get it from support in Denmark.

Then making sure no lens and VF are attached, connect the H3D to your computer and choose Maintenance>H Firmware update from the pull down menus.

Follow instructions on screen - It will ask you to locate the .hbf file.

Are you on Mac or PC? What model? What Firewire socket were you using?

Best,

David

Hi Bronek,

I realise who you are now. Apologies!

http://www.hasselblad.com/masters-2008/gen...onek-kozka.aspx

Get in touch with CRK in Melbourne, talk to Damon or Colin - they will help.

Alternatively drop me a message with your email address and I will send you the .hbf.

Best,

David

Thanks for the quick response, I have updated before with no problems...not sure what happened here...on an iMac firewire connected with the cable that came with the kit....and followed the instructions.... can't even power the camera down.... just stays on that service mode (1)....so I've taken the batter off and I'll take in to CRK tomorrow.... all a bit strange...hope they can sort it out.

You came to Melb recently didn't you? I was shooting a lot that week, could make it (to exhausted to be honest).

Thanks

Good to hear Bronek!

Yes, I was in Melbourne a few weeks back - sorry to have missed you, but of course work comes first!

That's quite a few people helped (me included) by having a Hasselblad presence on the forum. Thanks again, David.
