Hello,

I read that Leaf is supporting Canon files.

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance for any help!

this was a feature request from me, now that im a leaf user- and im really liking lc11.2. so i thought it would be really cool to use just one piece of software for both leaf and canon (or nikon). That was a big selling point for me with phase.

i think 99% of leaf owners will still have a canon or nikon, so i think they shooting their selves in the foot by not supporting canon.

is it a good idea?

sounds like they will consider to include it in their future releases.

How about tethered shooting with Nikon?

I don't really see it happening with Canon support in Leaf Capture. LC 11 is dedicated to Leaf products and not even all legacy ones at that.

LC 11 is nice, does reasonably well (superb for tethering) but I use it maybe 1% of the time for processing. I use Lightroom almost exclusively which I can use for all cameras I have, along with a much larger feature set.

The main reason I don't use LC 11 is the levels/curves/histogram is a pain to use and sharpening is just crude, it halos far too much. They do need to upgrade to a 0-255 levels/curves/histo like every other piece of software for raw files

Added: Perhaps Yair can whisper something into the LC 11 team's ears. At least offer the standard 0-255 levels, curves, histo along with the current method so users can choose. You would be surprised, I'm sure nearly everyone would choose the 0-255 method though. And don't get me started with Lightroom and their 0-100 for RGB, absolutely moronic.
